Within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), and in line with the work carried out under the initiatives “University without Walls” (USA-European University Assotiation) and “Skills 4 post-Covid – Competences for the Future” (“Labour Market Relevance and Outcomes – LMRO”, OECD and European Commission), a set of reforms and investments were defined that contribute to increasing the participation of young people in higher education, the graduation of the population and the increase of research and development in Portugal, reinforcing the the objective of convergence with Europe over the next decade.
